Fractured Wings
In the umbral deep,
Where shadows steep,
Azure whispers cling,
To fractured wings.
Fragments keen, of moonlit hue,
Once I held the whole of you.
Tender breaths in time's embrace,
Now etched in sorrow's weary face.
Twilight's crease, a cruel divide,
Left us stranded, hearts denied.
Silver's shimmer, midnight's track,
Now dissolves in raven's black.
What remains is but a ghost,
The echo faint of love engrossed.
A fleeting spark, a fleeting view,
Memories dim, still cutting through.
